*Equine
Massage practitioners do not diagnose or prescribe. Equine Massage
is not a substitute for veterinary care; it is used in addition
to standard medical treatments. Massage should always be performed
by a trained and certified person. A certified practitioner of Equine
Massage is trained in anatomy, movement and observation and may
decline to proceed with a massage treatment if the health of the
horse is at risk. Animals suffering from fever, shock, infection,
open wounds, rashes, lumps and immune disease should not be treated
unless a veterinarian is consulted.
